Help, lost me nuts..

HELLLLLLLP....

I'm in desperate need of a couple of nuts for the Maxi balljoints.
Has anyone got a couple or could get them for me?
Just about ready to put the car back on its wheels.
But bu*****d without the nuts.

I've looked everywere for mine.
I've even tried...........tidying up..
The only thing I can think of is I left them in the
UK last trip.

Hi David

Did we ever get to the bottom of what size they are

If I can get replacements easy enough .... Quite happy to send over mine ;)

I won't be needing them for quite a while yet :o

Do you still need a plug for that Ford Ka clock of your's ? .... I just hapen to have aquired a spare when I got a clock from the breakers the other week :)

Hi Ronnie.

I'm afraid I have no idea what thread they are.
That's what has left me a bit stuck, I can't even order them.
If anyone does know what thread they are, maybe they could let us know.

If no one comes up with an alternative, I'll take you up on your offer.
I can get them replaced when I get back to the UK.
Just there is nowhere around here to get anything like that.

As for the Ka clock, I've now soldered the wires on so don't need a plug.
Cheers anyway

If nothing turns up David .... Pm me your address & will post them off PDQ :) :)

There was a thread a while back .... But I don't think we ever got to the bottom of the thread type & size.

Probably got spares in my huge collection of old Imperial stuff anyways ;)

If they are defo 1/2" unf then I'm saved...

Anyone else confirm that size?

How big are Davids nut's

When we had the thread going a little while back .... I put the Vernier & thread gauge on mine .... I came to the size of 1/2" UNF !!

Some folk thought it likeley that they were M12 metric fine .... Tried a known metric fine nut on one of mine & it didn't fit.

If I had to lay a £10 note on the line .... I would plump for the UNF option :)

If I had to lay someone else's £10 on the line ..... I'd choose both :D :D

Think they are M12x1.25, I have a couple in spare so just sent me your adress and I can put them at the post to you...

I have checked the thread two times but I can try theme again when I got home today just to be sure:)

I've put a thread gauge on them and they look like m12 x 1.25 to me also .
