Best spring weights for the track?

I've got Dave Bolam's old car (Saturn built chassis).
My question is, what are the best spring rates front and rear for track days, I'm not interested in how hard or twitchy it is on the road as I don't bother using it on the road unless I'm testing it or driving to a track day.

Hi,
There has been an interesting thread about that on this forum last year with a very interesting input from Alga:

Hope that will help :)

Very interesting thread Sylvain - I'll have to see how I get on with my springs 350 front, 300 rear (was 250). I'm going up due to there nearly always being two in the car weighing in at 30 stones (too many pies) but would stay at 250 if it was just solo. Chris (CTW) went to 350 / 300 and reported better handling. I suppose it is what suits you. I always remember motorcycle racing many years ago where the suggestion was soft springs with hard shocks, perhaps Alga has it right?
