365

Today was build day 365. Stupidly, when I started, I thought a year would do it. Ha ! As with a lot of us, there's been highs and lows, but overall I'm pleased with progress so far. My new deadline is Stoneleigh next year (it'll probably get canceled due to flooding). Today was a slow day, first trial fit of engine and gearbox, ready to make engine mounts. At the moment my car is a rolling chassis minus steering rack.
Many thanks to all who have helped on the forum. Also congrats to all the roadsters who have passed iva, many more to come this year.

See you at Stoneleigh next month.

If it was not for three other projects.... I may have it half done...

As It is I should be booked on project one until early august to meet a long standing deadline.. If I meet that then The roadster will take pole with the view to being ready for stoneleigh 2011

I have had a bit of down time on the roadster recently, got back into the old photography. BUT after a few days away with the wife and kids over this weekend I will get back in the garage.

I never set a completion date that way I am never behind or pushing for a deadline.

Cheers Ginge
