petrol tank wires

Hi All
I have a petrol tank from a spitfire got some time ago,4 wires are coming out of it

1 black
1 purple
1 red/blue
1 green/blue

but dont know which NEW colours they tie up with and WHAT they are for

any help would be greatfully rec
