Miata rear upright lower bolt

So i'm ready to bolt up suspension, and im wondering what you guys are using for the lower bolt on the rear upright. It looks like the upright is 14mm and the crush tubes are 12 mm. So what are you guys doing to take up those 2mm.

You need 2 short lengths of 14x1mm cds tube and knock it in to place, it needs to be over length so you can trim it back and remove the leading and struck section that may get damaged.

As above, I used stainless in the vain hope it might not seize in there like the standard setup does.

Welp not exactly something easy to come by over here. Found someone on ebay in the UK selling it. So I bought a chunk from him.

I used some 14 x 1 on my uprights to use a 12mm bolt, but there's no reason you cant drill/bore out the crush tubes to 14mm and use a 14mm bolt which may be a better option in the states if the tube is hard to come by or going to be expensive to get hold of.

i used the 14mm x 1mm tube i got off ebay

instead of knocking in in i used some leftover m12 rod put a nut and washer each end and just tightened till it was all the way in

Cost about $20 US for 600mm of stainless steel. Most of which is shipping. So not cheap, but also worth it in the sense that i dont have to try and track some down.
