Wing stays

Hello again. I will start making the wing stays but i think there are some problems on the drawings of the books. First of all, i can't see where WS6 is needed. Then, in the book, only one tube is bent while i have seen from people here that both tubes usually are being bended.
Also, WS5 is very short and without any bend, while WS4 is longer with a bend to go under the wing.
I have searched on the emmendments section but found nothing related to the wing stays. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks! :)

edit: OK, i found out why WS6 is separate and why WS5 is short. WS6 should be welded on WS5.
But should i bent both tubes or not?

best thing to do is to tack the stays up on the car, with your final wheels and tyres fitted. They are a bugger to get right, thats why its easier to make them in situ

Would suggest you use 5mm steel bar if you are going to follow the book drawings if you use the 3mm recommended they will flap about when you drive the car. I remade mine using 13mm tubing which seems ok

I thought AshG was gonna post some pics etc of the way the new ones are on the Mev as it was a simple yet effective design(or maybe i imagined it  )
