seat supports

I have bought some bars of steel to act as supports for my seats as I have an alloy floor.

Has anyone used the Kit parts direct GRP seats in their build. If so I am wondering where the supports need to be fitted. ie distance/spacing.

My friend is coming around to fully weld my roll bar and re-inforce the diff support. I was hoping to have these supports in place as well.

Your a million times better off getting all your components into the chassis and sitting in it. Get your driving position sorted before welding it together. Are you putting in seat sliders / adjusters?

I will put an adjuster on the driver side. Im not going to on the passenger side to save a bit of weight.

Having exactly the same thoughts - have also come to the conclusion that I need to place things in the chassis with me sitting in it to work out where they need to go...
