throttle cable
 
is it possible to join a throttle cable as all i need to lengthen is about 6"

If its for bike carbs, just use a bicycle brake cable, not worth the hassle trying to join two cables together.

I took apart the Mondeo cable I got with my engine, used the bits the cable sheath inserts into (the tensioning system pedal side and the square mount at the throttle). For the cable, I used one I had (a Civic rear hatch release cable with one end rusted off).

many many thanks to all went today and got a bike cable with all the fittings and hope to fit tomorrow
