long cycle wings

Does anyone still make the longer, fixed front wings similar to the ones on the early 7's ? They seem to have been largely dropped in recent years in favour of the now more usual cycle wings but IMHO add a bit of classic styling.

Clamshell wings are sails that work like anchors :D

Caterham clams will need to be made a lot wider as Caterhams are "proper sized cars" for "normal sized people"......:p

Clamshells largely disappeared after the littigation between Caterham and Westfield.

Can't say I am a fan.

Normal sized people from victorian times!

Clamshells produce a lot of drag and lift at speed.

I borrowed a pair to try to fit to my chassis. The thing is, if they don't fit they are real hard to adjust. They bolt to the sides of the chassis, so if your track is too wide about all you could do is fit big spacers between them and the chassis. Or try to modify the glass, but that would be a challenge.
