Little Lathe Job

Ello all,

I am after somebody that can fly a lathe, I have some steering extensions but they are way too long I would like the male thread on them lengthened then I can cut off the bit I don't need any one near Gosport be handy but also happy to post them beer tokens very available.

Ta Gary :)

It would be easier to just cut the other end off then face it rather than going through the faff of turning it down, by how much are they too long by?

Hi Phil

I reckon about 25mm to 30mm re-threaded then take a bit of the female end the total length is 136

I'm using your wishbones etc. how long are the ones you supply?

Gary

My latest mx5 version the total of the rack extension is 130mm but 80mm is the main body with 50mm being the male thread which can be easily trimmed off if need be. As for Sierra version I cant remember what size they should be or even the last time I made any, could be 3 years plus now.
