u1 + 2
 

Can anyone explain the alignment of u1+2 to the top rail please? Sure I'm looking at the picture wrong!

On U1 does the top front corner meet with the outside edge of the rail and same on the other side?

the way i did it was so that the outside rear corner of U1 lines up with the outside of the top rail then the outside front corner of U1 stick out abit filled the gap with weld then sloothed it down, still had to space the sus brackets off the rails anyways. hope this makes sense
