I wish you could search this forum for short terms as in the chassis tube id's??

drives me crazy, anyway. would anyone be able to tell me how far along TR3/4, SS1 falls if tacked to the top of SB2, with the correct arch. Im no good with bending radius's :confused:

Hi,
If I understand your question correctly, this distance on TR3/TR4 (measured from the junction with D7/D8) is basically the "flat" bottom side of CP11 which is, according to the book 56mm.

If I remember rightly I tacked the two together before fitting on the chassis, avoided any 'issues'

This is the best way to do it, join SS1 to CP11 on the work bench, you'll find it much easier to do that way, but remember you will need a left and a right part.
