I have used 3mm on mine once its welded up it seems strong enough

Will find out when it comes to driving though

Cant give dimensions atm as I am at work but all I did was measure where the diff would mount in the diff cage measured from mounting point to the outside edges of the cage and doubled it then measured from the seat back to the rear of the diff cage and cut steel accordingly

Hope that is of any use more to the point hope it makes sense

Thanks will 08 for your reply I was thinking that they should be thicker, the build guide for them says 3mm though but I think I will use 5mm as you suggest
It only gives dimensions for the hole spacing I was thinking of using 150mm x 361mm x 5mm plates as I can't see any reason why they need to be exact width
The 361mm is the same as RS7 any thoughts?.

Mick.

That's sounds like a good idea
I've PM Gillham about cp plates and have asked about these cp26 plates to get a rough price but haven't given them any sizes for them.
