Aluminium Bonnet

So I have my nosecone and scuttle now from Triton / SSC. Now the aluminium I have for the bonnet is 1mm but the recess in the scuttle and nosecone is deeper (say 3-4mm). So how do I get the bonnet flush with the scuttle?

Do I fit aluminium to the scuttle? Or perhaps fit some seals?

i would suggest the foam strip, on both edges of the scuttle & nose to raise the bonnet up a little, also you,ll have edging trim on the bonnet too so allow enough clearance for that ;) :)

cheers

You can use these from car builder solutions:

They also do the edging trim for IVA. Works well.
