Pics..Fuel and Brake lines ..Enough clips ??

Been hard at it today..had a rethink of my fuel feed and return lines so made a track for them to run down....i hate feckin microbore pipe it may be malable but in my big plates of meat it is CRAP hate it !!![IMG][/IMG]

Have i clipped it enough...cant move the pipes unless you wedge them with a scewdiver !! There are a few bits of the petrol pipe i want to cover with split rubber but will need to scavange some tomorrow at work thing 6mm 4 core SWA insulation is about right :)

More than enough should keep the man happy.

Oberservation and not critical, you could have put 2 clips on one rivet for the brake pipes at the front.

Story of my life mate...my rivets were to wee !!!

Looks really good Andy, use of the rubber lined p clips always goes down well with the IVA man and the way you have rubber lined the copper tube at the corners looks good to.

Plenty of clips.....:)

yeah its 3/8" microbore...had a coil of it lying around so thats why i used it too !!

Andy_B 24th March 2011 08:51 PM

DONT USE 3/8" MICROBORE !!! as i needed to do some tight 90 bends to look nice and neat around the engine bay...can you get 3/8" end feed or yorkie fittings....can you f@@k ...all my days work has been ripped out and ran in 10mm od pipe...on the bright side i have a supply of rubber petrol pipe which will fit over the microbore very snug...
