zetec eec4 ecu Q

i have a eecIV ecu i got when i picked up my motor its off a 93 ford xr2i fiesta (105 bhp zetec 16v 1.8l)
i have now idea how to tell if the orignal car had any form of imobliser built in
and if it did if it is possible to bypass it. i know you can have them reprogramed to bypass it if fitted and remaped does any one have any info on what is required to do this and how to find out any info on if it is of any use to anyone (eg no imobilser)
it would be good to suck the program out to view map values that may help set up my megasquirt 2 i have just built
