Fuel Pump position?

Hi,

just received my zx9r fuel pump and was looking for the best position to site the said item.

Do I need to place it below the level of the fuel tank or can it go anywhere?

Suction from the tank is from the top (tube going to bottom of tank).

Was looking at putting the pump to the left of the tank in that wasted area behind the suspension/wheel.

Not sure how well bike pumps suck????

They are designed to suck Daz, mine is placed just before the carb on the top of the footwell plate, CP16, and works fine.

mine is in the back and is higher than the outlet on the tank. it doesn't have any problems at all

in fact they are meant to be laid down on their side mine is vertical and still works fine.
