Painting sierra parts

I've just finished all the electrolisis and wire brushing of all my sierra bits (uprights, calliper carriers etc) and want to get them painted soon before they start rusting all over again! What paint has everyone used, and whats the best method of applying it??

Thanks,
Josh

I have used Hammerite, brush and spray on uprights, brake back plates, drums, drive shafts, diff etc, and engine lacquer on engine parts.

I also found Hammerite good stuff to use especially the smoothrite stuff if its on a part thats on display

I always apply a coat of Kurust before painting. As well as converting any last remaining traces, it seems to give a good solid base to put Hammerite on top of.
