Side pannels

Right guys, after all the festive cheer, im trying to crack on but have become a little stuck.

What have you done with your side pannels please?

Im using fiberglass ones if that makes a difference,

Can people post pictures how they fitted it around the front end please, diameters of holes for steering rack, suspension arms ect?

Does the scuttle sit on top of the side pannel?

How are people fixing them?? (Im thinking rivets on the top and bottom)

What happens around the rear end where it meets the rear pannel?

SOrry if this has been covered before, but I cant find it anywhere?

Cheers Jas

First put side on chassis then you can mark out the headlight/top shock mount hole...cut this but just big enough so the panel will slide further on then mark out next hole and so on...it's a doddle. When you have then all cut just big enough to wriggle the panel on you can try the 'bones etc and where you need extra clearance for bolts etc you can open up the holes...make then a nice groovy shape...same applies for the rack to poke out...then when you are chuffed to nuts with that side and as long as you have welded the brackets in the same place you can use the panel you ahve trimmed as a template for the other side........simples;)

Sides on first then the other panels sit on top...rear panel meets at that angley bit that goes from top rail to floor...kinda half n half so you have summat to rivet to...;)
