Exhaust build.

Well, Hopefully next week , I will be starting my exhaust build. The car is a little loud without it despite only being a 1.8CVH.

I have a Can from a Westie, and have orderd pipe up from Jetex in order to build up the system.

Let me know how you get on and pics of how you do it as I'm getting close to this stage too :)

Yeah, have the RST manifold on. Should have it fabbed up fairly quickly hopefuly.

Did you do anything in the end to mate the RST head to the Sierra Head? I also notice the sierra gasket would leak badly if used  is there an RST gasket?

Cheers

Where can you get these SVC type exhaust silencers from as they don't appear to them anymore. Also what size is yours Adrian, as I remember it was very quite.:)

Ahh I see, good job! What gas did you use? I'm not setup for stainless, is it cost effective for such a small exhaust section? I do know a fabricator quite well maybe I could tack it together and take it to them for full stainless welding Hmm.

That's how I did exhaust in my last project - tacked with with stainless stick welder and then TIG welded by "professional"... it was much cheaper than custom made exhaust...

I am really lucky because my mate is a fine fabs welder for F1 teams and knocks out goodies like this for free. Mind hes had enough of my time
