Pinto 205 for sale
 

Hi Everyone. I have a Pinto 205 engine for sale. Reason being I'm having a clear out and need the cash for my roadster. I am in Nottingham.

So the engine can be seen running as I have put it into a sierra on my drive. To cut a long story short I bought this engine as a project to rebuild. It does not come with an alternator, radiator or engine mounts. I was suprised to see how smooth she can after changing the camshaft cover gasket as she hasnt run in atleast a year. The pic show a different exhaust manifold and carb as i couldnt get the originals (which are in my garage) to mate upto the sierra kit.

Any questions feel free as I have never sold an engine before. Also not sure what amount to ask for and I know thats irritating for a forsale post sorry

Forgot to add. There is no thermostat and I had to red hermatite the housing and water pump. Everything works fine just needs new seals

Ask for whatever you would be happy to let it go for.

Im open to offers really. Would be nice to get it moved fairly soon though

they are going up in price all the time i remember when you could get a decent running one for £20:) nowadays you can put another 0 on the end for a decent one:( .
the one im using has been in my garage for ten years waiting for a car to come along for it to go in, now im building one instead:)

Yeh its gettin abit outrageous! Thats why I thought I'd offer it on here and LB before ebay.
