Just a little hello!

Hay guys just wanted to say hello! going to start doing a load of research on these monsters then start my build in a month or so. Was originaly going to do a locost 442 but have decided to go for the Gibbs book as the donor of a Sierra fitts what i want to do. Eventualy will want to drop in a wankle 13b engine so i hope the tunnel fits the gearbox ok. But that would be after i get the thing on the road. Will be doing some chassis mods to make the thing a little stiffer as will be changing the back a little but not too much all to make it stronger. Will keep you guys updated!

Think i should have the skills needed to make it. Just finninshed my tig welding city & guilds and was in the RN as a marine engineer so im not to bad with making stuff from scratch.

Soooooo anyhow.. yeah hello!

I would love to see one for real to be honest. Im living in bristol for the next two weeks then moving down to dorset so if anyone has one and wants to show it off let me know!

Hi there. I am in Bracknell, about 1 hour from Bristol if that helps. I am in early stages, you can see from my website - www.deepfolly.co.uk - about how far along I am. You are welcome to have a look.
Dave.

Welcome :)

The Rotary should make a fun car, but the back end is strong enough as it is ;)
