The round tube chassis has been cad/cam designed to ensure accuracy, all tubes will be laser cut to maintain accuracy during fabrication. Fabricated front and rear uprights, quaiffe chain driven diff and fully adjustable pedal box. Mock up chassis has just been finalised and plug started. So providing the world doesn't turn inside out the aim is to have the car at Exeter show later this year... I'm sure I'm not the only 40 something who thinks he was born too late and this is for me as much as anyone else who just loves 60's F1 cars. Before it gets misunderstood the car mentioned is NOT the car Chris Gibbs has been working on for his new book.
The intention was only to make two cars, but we have been persuaded to make full production jigs and moulds and offer them in kit form as well as fully built ready to use cars. No drawings will be available as this is not a budget build your own car and does not use a donor for mechanical parts. Mark. |
Is this project shhh that John was working on? If your in charge of promoting this new car your not doing a very good job Mark. Pics pics pics pics ....... fade to black.
