front braided hoses location

hey folks wondered if someone could let me know about running the front braided hoses ?

i have the parts to make them and to any length but ..... how have people routed them ? im coming off a fixed point on bottom of U1 + U2 now i have two options i see it .

1. run the hose along the bottom wishbone at the rear edge allowing movement at the inner edge and come up from the wishbone with enough free to allow for caliper travel

2. have the whole lot floating between the car and caliper as pictured on the front of the book.

can a few of you post a few pictures up on how you have yours ?

any input is gratefully received

cheers

Hello,
Front brake lines definitely have to be free, not attached to anything, just connected to brackets on U1/U2 (bulkhead fitting) and to the front callipers (straight male). Length should be calculated with the wheel turned at its maximum, and the front upright in its lower position (max length of your shock absorbers.)
So far, brake lines I've done for forum members were 530mm overall.
Hope this will help :)

That length wont work for me tho ! Ive got extra meat in mine.
But thanks for the info re not being attatched i did them like that on the last car but that didnt need any iva.

Give me something to do later on

Cheers
