Productive Weekend

Had a pretty productive weekend. managed to bond and rivet the floor on and one of the side pannels.

only thing that has held me up is the twot next door. we have only lived in our new house for 2weeks and all he does is moan about noise. if its not the dog that hes moaning about, its me working on the car. i must have been banging for no more than 30mins today around 3:30pm putting the side pannels on when he sitcks his head over the fence and moans about my banging. basically i told him it has to be done and carried on. winds me up when his little 5 year old is screaching in the garden and winding my dog up through the fence.

rant over

here are the picts

that looks great ash, just one thing i think you might regret putting that side panel on, i now that when i was doing all my engine and pipe work i found it very usefull to be able to put my arms threw the sides of the chassis, (might beworth leaving the other side off) not a crytisisum just a thought.

looks awsome though

have already put the engine in and made up all the pipes prior to fitting the side pannels :D i know it will be a bit more difficult getting it all back in but the side pannles were getting in the way all the time.

nice one Ash, your car looks fantastic, wow
really like the drivers side rear wheel, are you saving up for the other 3 ?????:D :D

just pulling your leg, looks really smart.

as for your neighbour .....i,d personally have a chat with him & suggest that he accepts that he has new neighbours & that you working on your car at that time of the day is perfectly acceptable,,,,,, if he doesn,t accept then i,d be inclined to work in the garage up until 10pm at night & say that to him, he,s probably jealous of your car.

well done mate, looks brill,

cheers for the comments guys. i do have the rest of the alloys i was just seeing how they go with the arches :D

i dont like upsetting people you know im not that kind of person. the bloke has a little 5 year old and in the week i try not to make a noise after 7pm which i know is his bed time. so if i can't make noise in the week or the weekend then when can i make it?

if he moans again then im just gonna tell him to get stuffed. i have tried considerate and he moans so i may as well just not bother being considerate as he is still going to moan what ever i do.

i know you have all the other wheels ;) pulling your leg, lol.

and yes i DO know you, i know that you would do your best to be considerate to your neighbours but some folk just expect too much, basically say to him what you just said in your last post & ask him WHEN would it be ok?
if he doesn,t take the hint that you are trying to be neighbourly then tell him where to go. ;)

where i,m building my car, at the start i actually went & spoke to the 4 neighbours that are closest & promised them i wouldn,t do any work on the car before 10am or after 7pm, it seemed to get them on my side & they are now actually quite interested in my build, but also they had the info that i was being considerate & hoped they would see it, which they did thankfully.

as for your car , words fail me... apart from stunning
