iva and indicator switch

hope someone can help. has anyone any idea whet the rules are for the switch to operate the indicators, does it have to be on the column ie normal position or can it be moved, what about self cancelation ect.

am building bike engined roadster and want paddle shift

Indicators have to be operated by a switch within easy reach of the driver. Switch has to be clearly marked with the correct symbol, have a light on the dash showing its operation.

I can't see anything in the manual about self cancellation. Although I prepare to stand corrected :D

These look quite good if you don't have stalks.
