everything on mine is new other than the rear drums.

thats good to know dave as mine are 8 inch with 1.8inch shoes. that works out at 1/3 less surface area combined with the smaller slave cylinder.

240's on the front. more than enough for a 500-600kg car. when people fit willwood callipers they actually change from 240 vented to 260 solid. if you go too big you will just lock the wheels too easily.

Why would you change to solid? It will have the same rotational force and pad surface as vented but without the benefit of the disk cooling under heavy use.

i believe its an exercise to reduce unsprung weight. As 7s are so light brakes designed for a tonne of sierra are overkill.
