Mazda MX 5 as a donor?

Just wondering if anyone is doing anything Haynes related with the MX5 as a donor? I've been back a dozen pages on this section and not found anything significant, and yet I would have thought it was pretty much an ideal as a donor, engine a bit on the small side, maybe, but very tunable as I understand.

A few of us are using the little MX5. The suspension has been designed and is in production by 3GE which helps and the chassis is nigh on identical apart from the diff mounts. If you are interested have a look at my build thread - the link is in my signature.
