Andy,

I've been looking into this as well.
In the Sierra it is clear that the 2 cable guides make a nice S-shape. The cable is connected to the drum back plate at the front side of the car.

I've collected a great deal of pictures of Locost and other Zevenz and there are some that have reversed this.
In practice it would have 2 advantages. That means if it is safe to do so !!!!
First the cable would make only one nice C bend. Secondly, it would mean that the brake pipes can run immediately behind the seat back body panel where they meet the flexy brake pipes at brackets that are safely positioned.

So that's where I am at the moment.
I would like to read some expert advice here.
I'm not going to turn the system back-to-front without good advice. That means if it is safe to do so !!!!
