I have thought about PC, but I don't yet have an engine, so need to put the mounts in when I decide what I'm doing. Plus, if I had sent it to the powdercoaters, I would not have noticed the missing welds

I don't know, surely there must be a system for making sure they are all done, it is soo easy to become blind to it once you have just spent a few hours welding up all the joints.

Maybe use little strips of insulating tape on every weld position, then take them off just before the actual weld??
