Hello, nice to see another builder on the forum.....

If it was me i would go with the 1.8 cvh every time, TT will know but i dont think they did a G reg cvh - is it not a Pinto.

With the CVH though you will have an easier install and put it on bike carbs and you will nearly match the power of the 2.0l (110 bhp). The CVH doesn't like to take a lot of abuse, the 2.0l is a lot stronger, but the CVH is an easy upgrade to a zetec (170 bhp) later on. Will still pass IVA emissions with bike carbs on to.
