Thats the same fault you get when you wire in led indicators as there isnt enough load
You can buy resistors to cure this problem with led lights, im guessing that they would work in this instance too
If you do use them though mount them in a suitable position as they get quite hot if used for extended periods, the ones i got were mounted on a piece of ali which helps with the heat dissipation
