I have found I can adjust the springs/ride height by hand when the car is raised and the shocks are fully extended. Actually, in this position the springs have a bit of slack when the ride height is set at 12-13 cm that is usually recommended. As for the shock clicker, I think I've read that people set it all the way left to softest setting for road, and tighten by 3-4 clicks for track.
