Mine are more accurate than VOSA's VSI in most cases and calibrated every six months,it can also cause a fail when they differ.
It weighed my bus at 2200kg and that was verified by weighbridge.
As for corner wieghts dont forget to put your weight in the drivers seat when you check them.
