Hi TT - Some progress!! I have been drinking beer too, I had to do a barbie earlier and it's illegal in Bracknell to cook without drinking beer
I have now got a spark and the pump kicking in when it should. I had missed the live off the ignition amp when connecting the live direct to the coil. It's one hell of a bleedin' spark on it - does the coil take the full 12 volts? There is a small component near the coil that I can't identify. It is in the black wire - it terminates in a 6mm threaded terminal. Is this a ballast or something? I know the green wire has a suppressor in it but this is something else.
