To be honest I am also not 100% sure what lengths are needed. I age read so many different approaches (length, spring rate etc). The original book was amended and there is some details in stickies.
I believe 14" open 9.5" closed all around are required. Shocks around 350lbs and 250lbs
Protech have a good reputation and they do a kit for Haynes builds for £452 - quite expensive but with a roadster where handling is all important I will be going that route over something a little cheaper at the compromise of handling.
