Yes, CP10, according to the book's specs, are too long. It is not a big problem.
But one thing is important : you have 2 different measurements between the holes and edges. At one end it is 25mm, at the other end, it is 31mm. The important thing is to put 25mm one at the bottom, and 31mm one at the top.
Place the lower edge of CP10 (25mm end) on the chassis first, and mark and grind the extra length on the top part of CP10 to fit them.
