Hi James,
The normal ones are ignition key and steering lock (it might be the same key, but counts as two functions as it locks the column,
and disables the car electrically).
The IVA manual says that alarms are optional, but if fitted MUST be accompanied by evidence of compliance (See section 13B Anti–Theft / Alarm).
So you might have to leave it off until after IVA.
You might get away with routing the wiring now, but not fitting the actual alarm/sensors.
