I get air trapped in front of the thermostat as this is higher than the radiator. It is slightly lower than the expansion bottle.
I have a bleed screw here to help get the air out.
I was thinking about moving my header connection to just in front of the thermostat.
Paul: do you think it would be better to connect it to the bottom hose?
