A new steering wheel arrived in the post today. It's an original MX5 one, which is nicely padded and should pass the IVA:
I got it to replace this aftermarket one which came with the donor. This one had no chance of passing IVA, but also has such a silly amount of dish that I couldn't reach the indicator stalk without taking my hand off the wheel
