I was just looking at your photos and see that you are using the savage switches.

Change the led in the fog from blue to amber (about £2) on eBay and don't worry about it.

With regard to dimming its a piece of cake with these switches.
As they are double pole switches use 1 side for the fog on/off and the other for the tell.
After a lot of searching I've come up with an easy wiring no diodes as per some threads. Here goes
1. Output to led
2.tell input (fog)
3. 12v from side lights via 5k resistor

I need to have a fiddle with a 5k and 10k as to the brightness I want (5k surgested on locost builders)

I don't know about wiring the hazard as I don't have that switch.
