Nope, no problem with using Allen headed bolts, as long as they are stamped grade 8.8 or higher. That goes for the nuts as well, which sloud be of the locking variety.
If the price is right, get em.
Dunno why you're worried if they have a hex on each end, surely you have spanners AND a ratchet with sockets
