What you have done seems right. You don't attach the sheath to cp14. You rely on the tension in the cable to keep it all in place.

What deezee means is that cp14 would be fitted vertical to the ground, and not following the slope of the back panel. Having it sloping means you form a bit of a kink in the outer close to cp14.
