I guess that is going to remain one of life's big unsolved mysterys
The CCT133 bearing in the picture was also a QH boxed product
To be Honest, I could have altered the clutch fork to suit the bearing that came with the Mondeo clutch kit as that would have given me enough throw.
When I measured the inside diameter of both bearings with my digital wotsit, They came out the same but when I tried the Mondeo bearing on the input shaft of the gearbox it felt a tiny bit sloppy
At least you are all sorted now & can treat this as one of those Grrrr moments of the build
