I used a metal cutoff saw with a 14 inch blade for most of the lighter 1x1 tube, occasionally used the band saw for heavier metal, and to be honest did an lot of 1x1 tube cutting by hand which was just as fast.
It doesn't take long to pick up doing accurate cuts by hand, just be sure to use a 'bimetal' hack saw blade, not carbon.
