I think I will be ultra keen on all things sharp. As you say a few moments with a flap disk in the grinder may save a lot of hassle at SVA time.
Had my fair share of dissagreements with MOT inspectors over the years. I cant Imagine an SVA inspector changing their point of view in the face of alternate logic from the person presenting the test vehicle.
My nearest SVA testing station is a 200 mile round trip. Not too keen on doing the run twice.
