Cheers Guys, I managed to test the bite of mine by lifting the rear of the car on the pallet truck. It seems to require about 25 mm clear movement to prevent the wheels from turning and to allow first gear to engage. However, the clutch plate was already in the engine, so it may change once renewed. The Capri clutch cable about £10 on ebay, so I will get one on order.

I must admit, I hit a build milestone yesterday without even knowing it! Having the rear wheels turn under the power of the engine. I kinda wished I had tightened all the Nylocs. If so I would have maybe given the wheels a bit of a spin!

The capri cable appears perfect with the adjuster.
