Default The best mod I've done.

I'm about to start fitting the engine and box but only have a fixed hoist on the roof. This means I will have to lift the engine and slide the chassis under. Bit of a pain then I remembered I had these in the shed. Couple of hours later.

I nicked them off a trolley they were throwing out at work. Iirc they are rated at over 100kg each.

Another reason for doing it was so I can always have space for the bike.

I built something as well, in fact I have a selection of trollys out there for engines boxes and the chassis.

My chassis one needs a bit of a fettle, it did nicely take a MK1 Golf shell.

ive got three old style bread crates aquired when a local shop closed

they with some bits of wood allow me to roll mine about as im in the same boat having a block and tackle to lift my engine in and out.

also great for moving my mini bodyshell around the garage when i painted it painting one side moving around the car to the other getting my old man to move it as i was painting so i had plenty of room to move

great bits of kit !
