bit of an up and down day :-(
having one of them days where you start to get somewhere then you feel all dissapointed.
painted my chassis and i think its a bit bright then i thought while thats drying ill have a go at making a fuel tank now i need it to be custom so i can use the wiring and fuel pump/ sender from my donor and the locking fuel cap tried to get the first weld and it has warped more times than the starship enterprise does in one episode of star trek ! that was using 1mm steel im tempted to jump to 2mm anyone offer any advice i dont want to get an ally one made as im being really tight on this build. cheers rob

Looks ok to me, I suppose it will depend on what you plan to do with the body colour.

regularly spaced tack welds through out the joins will keep it to a minimum then alternate your welding....and you can always call that an undercoat if your'e not happy with it as a final colour

I think it looks awesome Rob, as long as you colour code the rest of your car accordingly

Its going to be the reverse colours of my ducati monster which is black frame orange body work silver accent seeing as theres too many orange roadsters !! (andy's plural!) should look ok in the end i think the lighting in the garage lets it down. As for the fuel tank im going to have another crack at it . Its just silly i can get this far with the components ive used to be defeated by too thin steel
You know when you just need anothers opinion to pick you up Or a good kick in the arse !
