Default Been ebaying with a vengence

Have hit the ebay good style lately and I think " the boy did good". Sierra steering wheel and column with lock and key £31, rear back plates, brake shoes, bearing hubs, drums and break cyinders £35 the lot, bearing for the steering column support £9.99 and a nice Dremmel oh and a handbreak £16, not bad me thinks

a good 75% of my car will be sourced from the bay... love it or loathe it, not having to get off your butt to obtain things is ...well, kinda nice, apart from answering the door of course

Sounds like you have managed to get a few bargains there Arf

Your dead right about it not being much fun crawling about at the breakers, probably would have cost you most of that if you had made all that effort to remove them yourself

Have started to clean up my diff which I also had off ebay earlier this year, what a job, the guy I bought it from had painted it in red lead for some reason god only knows why. Have taken cover plate off and the crown wheel is ingraved with 3.92 ratio, and i'm going to powdercoat it but not sure if i'm going to do it in black or silver. Any suggestions

The build is going slow & is in Stafford now, but i'm in Chester every w/end getting bits together

Had a phone call tonight from my mate he has grit blasted the outside of the diff cover I left with him lastnight so I am going to have a go at powder coating the outside of it, think it will be in tittanium, ans painting the main casing black. Hey twin dont come back up here just to snaffel all the good bits
